Job Overview
Clinical Team Administrator – NHS Norfolk & Waveney Talking Therapies

Do you have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail? Can you manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality? Norfolk & Waveney Talking Therapies are looking for a professional, conscientious, calm, and confident individual to join as a Clinical Team Administrator.

This role involves supporting the Clinical Team by working closely with professionals and the public, using electronic patient systems, handling referrals, making phone calls, updating records, and providing general admin support.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Full training will be provided
  • Strong communication, prioritisation, and IT skills are required
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to service needs
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality

Essential Criteria

  • Proficiency in ICT applications and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a busy office environment
  • Ability to take and process referrals via phone and online
  • Confident, polite, and professional manner when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a commitment to confidentiality

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • NVQ 2 in Customer Services or equivalent
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Trust electronic records systems

Experience

  • Knowledge of a wide range of administrative procedures and systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent
  • Desirable: Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures

Other

  • Ability to work flexibly across a range of sites and offices
